Oct. 13 – Loralee Murrell has been located. Thank you to the media and the public for their assistance in this matter.

Swift Current Rural RCMP are looking to the public for assistance in locating 61-year-old Loralee Murrell of Moose Jaw, SK, who was reported missing to police on Oct. 12, 2022.

Loralee is described as being 5’5” and weighing approximately 130 lbs. She has shoulder-length red/brown coloured hair and blue eyes. She also has a heart tattoo on one of her ankles. Mounties say she was last seen wearing a blue sweater with black capris, and blue sandals.

Loralee was seen leaving Waldeck, SK, just east of Swift Current, at approximately 2 a.m. on Monday, October 10, 2022. She made arrangements to visit a family member in Vancouver, BC.

Police say Loralee is believed to be travelling in a grey 2008 Toyota RAV 4 with Saskatchewan license plate 860 KGE heading west on Highway 1. She is reported to be travelling with a male dog, a boxer breed, tan in colour.

Police received a report of a possible sighting of the grey Toyota RAV 4 on October 10 at the rest stop near Piapot, SK, along Highway 1. Maple Creek RCMP assisted with attempting to locate Loralee by patrolling the rest stop area and conducting neighbourhood inquiries, but produced negative results.
